As of 1 January 2017, Professor Ole Kæseler Andersen, D.Sc., was appointed Vice Dean for Research. Ole’s background is in biomedical engineering and he has been associated with the Center for Sensory Motor Interaction (SMI), Department of Health Science and Technology since its inception in 1993. Ole heads the Integrative Neuroscience group where his focus is on understanding and use of spinal reflexes in pain research and neurorehabilitation. He is also head of the Doctoral School in Medicine, Biomedical Science and Technology and part of the senior advisory group behind the Center of Neuroplasticity and Pain (CNAP). Ole is looking forward to developing cooperation between the researchers at Department of Health Science and Technology and Department of Clinical Medicine, and he will also work on strengthening postdoc training.
