TEACHING & Study environment

At the Department of Clinical Medicine and Department of Health Science and Technology teaching is conducted according to the inter-disciplinary and problem-oriented Aalborg Model of "Problem Based Learning" (PBL) where students work in project teams and often in collaboration with industry or the public sector. Students are introduced to theories and methods through lectures, courses, but also through work in our laboratories.

SUND students play an active and important part in our research and clinical environments. Our research based teaching allows students to gain access to the latest research and knowledge within their field of study. In addition, courses are constructed for students to test theoretical skills and theories on a practical basis in our well-equipped and modern laboratories.

Members of the academic staff of the department also teach at the bachelor programme Teknoantropologi and the master programme Techno-Anthropology run by the Faculty of Engineering and Science.
