Department of Health Science and Technology (HST) has a long history of working closely together with the surrounding society both nationally and internationally. Furthermore, Aalborg University is Denmark's leading university when it comes to knowledge transfer between the university and the business world.
Hst's external funding
In 2016 HST reached a total of 180 research projects based on external funding. 70 per cent of these projects are funded by private companies.
HST's external funding increased remarkably (DKK 60 mill.) in 2015 when Center for Neuroplasticity and Pain (CNAP) was established at HST. CNAP is a Center of Excellence funded by The Danish National Research Foundation.
