LOW BACK PAIN: THE EVOLVING ROLE OF PHYSIOTHERAPY AND REHABILITATION
Dr. Kieran O’Sullivan has been invited to give a lecture on risk factors for the development and persistence of low back pain (LBP)
17.01.2019 kl. 14.00 - 14.45
Department of Health Science and Technology has invited Dr. Kieran O’Sullivan to give a lecture on low back pain (LBP).
"The lecture will review what we know about the risk factors for the development and persistence of lower back pain (LBP). A particular emphasis will be on how public perceptions regarding LBP, and clinical practice, are (or are not) aligned with what we know about these risk factors. An approach to dealing with the multidimensional nature of persistent LBP which is aligned with contemporary pain mechanisms will be presented, while key implications for contemporary teaching, research and clinical practice will be highlighted".
Participation is free and registration is not required.
All parties are welcome.
