The Lundbeck Foundation Talent Prizes are awarded to researchers under 30 years of age who have conducted particularly promising research within the field of biomedical science.

“Hjalte conducts research on itch and pain from the skin. Diseases such as atopic dermatitis and urticarial means that approx. 10 percent of the world’s publication suffers from chronic itch. However, the treatment methods are limited; and Hjalte wants to change this. His PhD studies have brought us closer to understanding how itch arises and how eventually we can develop more efficient treatment methods. Hjalte has published a series of scientific papers and is described as a very special intellect who shows a sky-high commitment and who is exceptionally productive.” You can read more here
